Chur Day Three
My second day in Chur, I took the train to a small town about half an hour from the city.
Chur Day Two
My first full day in Chur, I took a !17 minute! ski lift up to the top of a mountain called Brambreusch.
Chur, Switzerland!
Chur was absolutely gorgeous. It's a small town nestled in the Alps, mostly home to tourists and skiers. I stayed in a hostel just passed the old center of the city.
In Germany!
I made it to Germany! Flew into Frankfurt and took the train to my Uncle Dave’s place in Cologne. It’s beautiful here! I saw my first castle on the train ride along the Rhine, wandered through the city with Dave, and found an Irish Kareoke place downtown. Today I'm taking the train to Chur, Switzerland, and then the plan is to take a train through the Alps to Pontresina. After that I'll take a bus to Florence or Milan or Venice or somewhere. Not sure yet. First leg of the trip a success so far!
Leaving Tomorrow!
Only 12 more hours until I leave for Germany! So excited!!! Spent the past couple weeks in Chapel Hill, Nashville, and New York City, so I'm both super excited and super tired! Hopefully I'll be able to keep updating this regularly so you can follow along. Took this photo of the leaves in Central Park, last stop before Frankfurt!
